Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 9, 2026
Ride or Die (“the App”) is an unofficial Fast & Furious fan application developed and operated by Niki Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the App does and does not handle.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. Specifically, the App does not:
- Ask you to create an account or sign in
- Request your name, email address, phone number, or location
- Access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
- Contain advertising or advertising identifiers
- Track you across other apps or websites, or sell your personal data
The App may request access to your camera or photo library if you choose to set a profile photo as part of the Family Membership feature. This is optional, and the photo is stored only on your device.
2. Information stored on your device
To work offline and remember your preferences, the App stores the following only on your device. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:
- Your display preferences (light/dark theme, preferred music service)
- A daily “shuffle” value used to vary featured content
- A local cache of movie, cast, vehicle, and soundtrack information and images retrieved from The Movie Database (see Section 3)
- Your Family Membership profile, if you choose to create one, including your display name, racer name, description, and profile photo
You can erase this data at any time using Settings → Clear cache within the App, or by uninstalling the App.
3. Third-party services
The App retrieves content from the third-party services below. When it does, those services receive your device’s IP address and the technical details of the request, as is standard for any internet connection. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these services.
- The Movie Database (TMDB) — movie, cast, and image data. The App uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Privacy Policy · Terms of Use
- Google News (RSS) — franchise news headlines. Privacy Policy
To help us find and fix bugs, the App also uses Sentry, an error-monitoring service. When the App crashes or encounters a serious error, Sentry receives an automatic diagnostic report containing the error and its technical stack trace, your device model, operating-system version, and the App version, plus a random identifier used to group repeated reports. These reports are not linked to your identity, are not used for advertising, and the App is configured so that Sentry does not store personal data such as your IP address. Sentry Privacy Policy.
To process in-app purchases and subscriptions, the App uses RevenueCat. When you make a purchase, RevenueCat receives transaction data from the App Store or Google Play, including the product purchased and your anonymized subscriber identifier. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple or Google. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
4. Links to other apps and websites
The App contains links that open external apps or websites — including Spotify, YouTube, and IMDb — so you can listen to soundtracks or view cast information. Once you follow such a link, you are subject to the privacy policy and terms of that third party, not this one.
5. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, none is collected from children.
6. Data security
Because the App stores data only locally on your device and does not transmit personal information to us, your information remains under your control and the protection of your device’s own security. Network requests to the third-party services in Section 3 are made over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
7. International users
The App may be used worldwide. The third-party services listed in Section 3 may process requests on servers located in other countries, including the United States, under their own privacy policies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above and posting the revised policy at this URL. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
